Welcome to Centerville High School!
Centerville High School is a comprehensive public high school serving about 2,700 students in grades 9-12 who reside in Centerville-Washington Township. CHS offers a rigorous curriculum with the purpose of preparing students for college and careers, as well as dozens of extracurricular and co-curricular programs.
CHS Theatre presents 'The Little Mermaid'
Centerville High School Theatre will present Disney's The Little Mermaid at 7 p.m. on April 25-26 and May 2-3 in the Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door or online. Golden Elk passes and staff IDs will be accepted at the door. Student activity passes are not accepted for musicals.

CHS ranks in top 10% of U.S. public high schools
Centerville High School ranked in the top 10% of public high schools in the U.S. and the top 6% in Ohio in the U.S. News and World Report 2024 rankings of Best High Schools.

Preparing for Education & Careers
With combined efforts of home and community, the mission of the high school is to graduate responsible and motivated citizens prepared for post-high school education and careers. Our emphases on academic excellence and a caring environment foster graduates who possess competencies in basic skills, effective communication skills, analytical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and positive attitudes toward self and others. These attributes will enable students to become lifelong learners capable of meeting the challenges of a changing world.

CHS is designated as a Purple Star school by the Ohio Department of Education for showing a commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.
