Welcome to the Centerville High School Parent Teacher Organization!

Mission Statement

To promote the betterment of the Centerville High School community through service and educational events directed toward parents, teachers and students, in the home, school and community. This is achieved through community contributions and volunteerism.

Ways to Participate

Membership

We invite and encourage you to join us this school year and directly support your school. Membership donation levels are available to our families & faculty:

Super Elk - $100 and above
Big Elk - $50‐$99
Elk Sponsor - $35‐$49
Elk Family - $20-$34
Elk Staff (CHS staff only) - $10-$19

Join via VENMO or PAYPAL and complete our online membership form or mail in your payment along with our printed membership form to CHS PTO, 500 E. Franklin St., Centerville, OH 45459.

Volunteer

We have numerous opportunities throughout the year for parents & guardians to volunteer in the building including Homecoming, Prom & After Prom ticket sales, Elk Pride Days, Financial Literacy Days, and more! Be sure to join the PTO and mark on our membership form that you are interested in volunteering. Opportunities will first be e-mailed to our members!

Donations

We will occasionally ask for food & beverages or gift card donations for Elk Pride, the parent/teacher conference meal in October, College & Career Fair meal in March, and Teacher Appreciation Week in May. These opportunities will be e-mailed out to all of our PTO members as well as promoted in Elk News. Financial donations are welcome anytime and can be made via VENMO or PAYPAL.

Kroger Community Rewards

Do you shop at Kroger? You can also support the CHS PTO through the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Visit Kroger's website and log into your Kroger account. Search for Centerville High School Parent Teacher Organization either by name, or by our Non-Profit Organization Number of RX678, then click Enroll. Once enrolled, scan your Kroger Rewards card (or enter the telephone number associated with your Kroger account) each time you make a purchase. It's SUPER easy!

CHS After Prom

The CHS PTO is bringing back After Prom in 2026! More info to come!

CHS PTO Meeting Dates

Meetings are a great way to stay informed and are held monthly at 7 p.m. on the dates below in the CHS IMC (library). Principal John Carroll gives thorough reports on the latest happenings around the building as well as a mini tour somewhere special on the high school campus! There is absolutely no obligation to volunteer if you attend a PTO meeting! Just come and listen!

No meetings will be held in December, June or July. Please keep an eye out here, on our Facebook Page, or Elk News for any updates on these dates:
